My last post on this thread was back on Dec 9 2023 and it was about the advancement of nuclear fusion and how science has now identified and is developing TUNGSTEN as a critical mineral for the "divertor" which is housed inside the nuclear reactor.

The divertor is essentially an "exhaust pipe" which facilitates the extraction of gaseous impurities from the chamber during fusion process and as a result is vulnerable to the intense heat generated. Tungsten, being the one earthly material with the highest heat tolerance by far, makes sense, but for it to be successful they have to keep the intense heat from making direct contact.

So how big is this divertor and how much tungsten will be required to make one ?

Well, I found this..........in an article about the development of KSTAR, Korea's nuclear fusion project

Exactly what amount of tungsten would be required for this is anybody's guess, but it is fair to say that its use in the fusion process will put tungsten in high demand.
