That is a bold statement IMO. In my attempt to get an initial overview of (prospective) tungsten miners, I came accross a number of companies that target production start well within this time frame.
First of all there are Largo Resources and Icon coming online with their Currais Novos and Mt. Carbine projects. Largo aims to produce 65kMTUpa while Icon lists with 13800MTUpa. Then we have Ormonde with its Barruecorpado project targeting late 2012 for production of 130kMTUpa after production ramp. Woulfe, Hazelwood, Wolf and Geodex are also targeting production start before the end of 2014. Also, some of the current producers try to expand their output. In summary, I deem the above statement highly misleading.
