tungsten metal and green energy?

I found this article, which I thought was interesting.
Tungsten has quite a lot of uses, the 'dinky' one's often make the company presentations, but there appear to be some energy uses which may have relevance to our times.
One is for turbine blades and components for wind/water plants.
another, apparently, is as a lining for nuclear fusion (i.e. not fission) reactors (Tokamak or magnetic confinement device)

i've no idea where the science is at with these things,
or whether there's any real economic significance.

    maybe a little boutique,

any uses with regard to hybrid electric motors or transmissions?... REE's certainly got the attention of the big "C" lately...

China (and Russia) appear also, to dominate the Tungsten resources worldwide.

Australia used to have one of the largest operating Tungsten Mines..

It may be about to make a bit of a comeback...
