Since April and May the price of tungsten has slowly be going up, also if you look at the price in March, it was about $312 dollars, and then jump up to $360.

With China controlling of the World's tungsten market, also with news of late that China has been reducing exports of tungsten, as well as stockpiling tungsten concentrate with an initial purchase of 10,000 tonnes. China’s tungsten ore reserves have declined from 4.2 million tons to 1.9 million tons, a decline of over half, according to statistics from 2003 to 2011.

A lot of investors don't realize that the price of tungsten has jumped 35% in the past year, when most other metals have declined in prices over that time.

With demand increasing at a rate of around 8% per year and production declining, it’s likely that the price of tungsten will rise in the next few years, how much it rises will depend on the demand for tungsten, as well as future supply of tungsten Worldwide.

I can see the price of tungsten heading between $435-$450 by the end of 2013, or sometime in the 2nd half of next year, depending on supply and demand from not only China but Worldwide.

By the way when is it that WLF hopefully will start mining tungsten??

Good luck to all that hold WLF
