    Great post mate. Definitely need to see some numbers.
    I might be able to offer an answer as to why the company is not using the X-ray sorter for the tailings. The machine if you recall back to the low grade stockpile testing tested the minimum size accepted by the machine (as per the company) of 10 to 20mm. So with the largest rock size being 8mm in the tailings ore sorting would not be possible.
