Saying thankyou to Turkey for the work they have put in and their continued efforts in honouring the ANZAC's does not mean anything else they may have done in the past is OK and forgiven nor does it make them some how better.
It would though show Australia as a better country and would be the right thing to do.
As for the Australian bit i will bet my balls I am more Australian than some bad mannered blow in.
