It may help you also if I tell you this: The Greeks have it that a good journo needs three things: a) Talent (which includes knowledge of the lingo) b) to be "promlematised" (to worry, be concerned, deeply interested about things) and a place to publish. Oddly, they think that freedom to publish is not as necessary. "A good journo," they say "will find the freedom, somehow, somewhere!"
