agree...straddles europe and asia, borders iraq, syria etc....very moderate muslim country, with a proud tradition ....ataturk was a brilliant man, no doubt about it, a shame there isn't more brilliant men like him in the islamic world, he literally pulled the country from the middle ages to the 20th century with inspired leadership
more roman/greek ruins there than most places in europe as well
