Somehow, I don't think Putin will back off - its not his style, especially after being "stabbed in the back" by the Turks. Most likely, Russian planes will be swarming the border region to bomb the hell out of the turkmen who shot their pilots in cold blood and then killed the helicopter search crew who were looking for the pilot. This time the Russian's will be primed and ready for any missiles coming from the Turks.
