    Schiff could be right, he's basing his call (for lower USD) on what the US usually do, ie, print more money combined with loose fiscal policy.

    There is a chance, imo, that the Republicans will force some fiscal restraint/spending cuts as part of the debt ceiling deal.

    If so, we might get a short term pop in the USD.
