Any operation without infrastructure or economic viability is dead in the water. Coal is cheap in Africa Indonesia and Mongolia at half the production and delivery costs. Australian wages and production costs are to high for any new projects.
It is laughable to think SMR could mine any underground coal beyond 100 meters and make money.
The whole management team has been a spectacular failure for the shareholders and share price.
If you look at the mines books there is a reason why it shut, coal needs to be $150 a tonne for that operation to make money. The seam gas dewatering has impacted wart table and wash plant needs massive feed.
All I see is a company who has no mineable coal with any chance of infrastructure or economic reality.

Sentiment at the time was SELL, price at the time $0.28.

Find me another coal play you would be happy with. Check out COK, BND, MTE, CPL.

At least this spectacular failure of management didn't get sucked into take or pay provisions, that is killing most QLD coal non producers.
