Just left a message for Twiggy; went something like this:
Hi Twiggy,
Just a quick message to let you know your appointment of Malcolm is animpending disaster. Clearly you had no idea of his background when you appointedhim to FFI. He is a rogue lefty; loves the environment and all that rubbish. Heknows far too many people in high places that love the environment too,particularly internationally. Clearly not suited to FFI’s foray into renewableenergy and green hydrogen and all that world-saving rubbish. I’d spell it outfor you as to exactly how bad a fit he is, but I don’t have the time. Apartfrom penning mindless rubbish on HotCopper, I too have my hands full running multi-billiondollar ventures and rubbing shoulders with the rich and powerful.
So, if you could kindly sack Malcolm when you get the chance, that wouldbe grand. I understand it will make you look like a fool only a month or soafter you appointed him, but hey, you’re a big boy, broad shoulders etc. I understandtoo that such a rash decision might impact people’s views on FMG, given youpull the strings, but what’s a few dollars and cents here and there when itcomes to the share price.
