My earlier post clearly demonstrated that Malcolm Turnbull does qualify as liberal whereas Tony Abbott certainly does not.
In the absence of any argument wahtsoever to the contrary it appears that HC posters do not contest that point.
Labelling the Liberals under Tony Abbott a conservative party still doesn't sit well with me.
Throughout the 2010 UK General Election campaign my wife & I toured rural England. Throughout that campaign David Cameron presented a whole range of fairly progressive policies, as well as some reactionary ones.
To date what few policies have seen forthcoming from Abbott's Opposition have been regressive / reactionary - I din't count election pork-barreling as policy btw.
