The LNP can never regain the right.

PHON and Cory Bernadi have moved into the right flank leaving Malcolm in the middle.

It is problematic if a shift to the right by the LNP would entice ex supporters to return. Turnbull has done extensive damage and even Abbott disappointed by failing to implement his 5 point plan. Abbott was a good opposition leader but was unsuitable as a PM just as Hockey was not suited for being Treasurer.

Voters today are much more educated in the area of deficit and islamic dangers. These 2 alone see TA as out of date although he is trying to catch up as is Turnbull to a lesser extent. The LNP need a visionary leader who is not infected with the Green disease.
