THANK GOD someone in politics has the courage of their convictions to speak their mind, and ignore toeing the party line.
Thought it was superb how Turnbull put Jones in his place, certainly Turnbull has earned my respect. So refreshing in a political world dominated by conformists.
So what if Turnbull met Palmer. I bet there are tacit meetings taking place all the time between all politicians. What really counts is that we encourage all politicians, no matter what their political persuasion, to tell us WHAT THEY AND THEIR CONSTITUENTS THINK and FEEL about issues - not what they are told to think and feel by their political party. Then, we may begin to see our politicians truly representing us, the proletariat.
