It's timely that the government put in place economic stimulus. But it's not good when there is a likelihood that they didn't follow RBA advice at the time, assuming they received advice. It's not good that they decide to guarantee all bank accounts unconditionally, clearly against RBA advice, assuming they received advice. It's not good to deny ongoing support for age pensioners when he even said himself that they are doing it tough....adding insult to injury. Then we come to the next piece of political opportunism. Rudd seeking Turnbull's support for a republic. That support goes without saying, and to mention this during a time when the economy is in crisis, it's clear what Rudd's intentions are.

I am not a Liberal. I voted Labor last election, and now regretting it. So long as Rudd gets name in the paper, face on the telly, as far as the country's welfare is concerned, that is just coincidental!
