It really is a very sobering indication of the far right wing Liberals that they would prefer a person like Tony Abbott.
Really just highlights the underlying weirdness that prevails in their ranks.
Of course, half of the party realises that Abbott is a fruitcake, and they can't quite believe that they're leading in the polls, so it weakens their position to be able to throw the fruitcake out.
But I have great confidence in the intelligence of the majority, and I think sanity will prevail before the next election and Abbott will be choofed off to the loony bin where he belongs.
