Many of those clips come from his time as opposition leader, during the 2012 election campaign. I distinctly remember watching, dumbfounded, at these repeated displays of contempt, and waiting (in vain, as it turned out) for the general press to start seriously calling him on it.
Oh, and have you forgotten how immediately after the election he disappeared almost entirely from view for months? Or how all the right wing sold it as "not being a media tart" and "a return to adult government"? It's funny how the pendulum swings, isn't it?
