Good question Headie. I have no idea.

The stick insect (Bishop) is now loathed and untrusted internally - for good reason.

Scott Morrison has shown to be rather inept when prosecuting budget cuts (which are vital to maintain our AAA credit rating and avoid descending into the same fiscal position as the PIGS - Portugal, Ireland, Greece and Spain).

Abbott - but (like Trump) he is loathed by the left and the media class (who are also in the majority from the left). Whilst Abbott made mistakes they were amplified by people that loathed him (like the purile onion incident - who cares??). Most people couldn't see through the lies promoted by the political class when it came to Abbott - he actually did some very good things.

I can't think of anyone else who is obviously up to it.

Turnbull is also just a part time PM - his heart isn't really into it.
