CFMEU, AWU, MUA, etc are responsible for closing 80% of Australian businesses since 1990.
Instead of working on the business, management is/was forced to spend all day every day, fighting with unions.

The movement away from manufacturing is not altogether a bad thing. 25 years of continuous economic growth, massive job creation, with most of those jobs infinitely better than factory work.
