Turnbull returns campaign focus to unions, page-2

I know everyone here loves to bag unions, but they are basicly there to make life better for workers. (never been in one my self but im glad for the rights they have fought for even if they have none of my money)
Let take a look at some of the simple things workers take for granted that unions secured for us:
Annual Leave
Maternity leave
Penalty Rates
Award Rates
Superannuation
Equal Pay for Women
Sick leave
Long service leave
Redundancy pay
Allowances: shift allowance, uniform allowance
Meal Breaks, rest breaks
Unfair Dismissal Protection
OH&S

Sure there has been some dodgy behavior from high up as there has been with every single other industry/company in the world, don't condone this in anyway, put em in jail! but Unions are important for workers rights.

If the right wing elite were not kept in check by unions we would end up with a slave race of workes with no rights no minimum pay and no holidays.
This is fine if you want a controlled uneducated sweat shop nation that stagnates but it's not the Australia i'm after.
