I cannot believe that you believe this government is collectively being reckless in not having made any "hard decisions" in a brewing economic storm ahead. You need to give a lot more credits to the people in government governing rather than looking at their decision making process as "not making hard decisions" through your ideological eyes.
Decisions that had been made and are being put in place most of which are economically sensible initiatives and decisions. They are also decisions that many of the western democracies are putting in place. They may not be the types of decisions that are philosophically in tune with your ideology, but I would not be so arrogant as to suggest that these people in government are so reckless as to "not making hard decisions" in such a critical time. I do not for one moment agree with your assertions.
