If you delete the words Malcom Turnbull and replace them with Tony Abbott I would agree with you. The destruction in the LNP has been caused by cry baby TA, and MT's only issue was that he didn't seek to throw TA out of the party every time he threatened to cross the floor to get his own way. At least MT did the honourable thing resigning from the parliament when his time was up, unlike that muppet TA who can't get a job in the real world. And with MT gone, well the voters in the blue seat of Wentworth are saying the LNP have gone of the rails and the real threat is Wentworth will be lost - MT is gone, if Wentworth is lost or the majority greatly reduced it is because of TA and his useless muppets (and will SM just be another pawn held hostage by the tail wagging the dog). Time will tell because it is about policy as I said in the thread I created today, not diatribe of the Bernardi closet losers in the LP like TA who are in the wrong party and destroying the party they seek to represent.
