I agree that it would not be Abbott’s intervention that caused the bad poll for the govt.
Its more that it just reinforced voter perception of a govt that is floundering.
Also the retaliation by Ministers and Turnbull against Abbott has basically laid the
blame at his feet and inferring he is a saboteur has upped the ante on the issue.
Its not over until someone takes a fall imo.
