Some thing has too give and the only way forward that would benefit the liberal party is for Abbott to be neutered.
I can't see change of leadership in the lib's would do them any good, particularly if it was a leadership spill. Besides that there is no one in the lib's that has the public profile and stands out as a potential leader now.
Going on the reaction from Liberal MP's there is no mood for a leadership change and as some of them said today in regards to the News poll, the next election is over 2 years ago so while the poll was not good there is plenty of time to turn things around
