Moondoong, it certainly seems to me that Malcolm Turnbull is floundering on heavy seas in HMAS Team Australia!
With all those hands up his back, that ball and chain around his ankles and Tony Abbott's noose around his neck; Turnbull has already burnt his political capital and is now viewed by Aussie Battlers as part of the Corrman-Dutton-Morrison doomgloomsday scenario!
As if divisions within the Coalition aren't enough for Turnbull to manage he's also having to atone for an economy that Abbott directed down the road to ruin. Nor has attempting to ram voodoo economics dressed up as tax cuts for large corporations down the throats of people who have to pay for them gone down at all well!
As if that wasn't enough; the Liberal Party's creepy-crawly donations scandal, the Coalition's failure to address pollie snouts in the public trough, it's war against Medicare and a NBN that is already on the road to rack and ruin have all reared their very ugly heads.
Then there's the extremist fringe dwellers [ie. Liberal Looney's] calling for resurrection of Work Choices [ABCC], a 50% increase in the GST, the termination of federal funding for public schools, that Crusade against Muslims and the banning of their mosques.
It seems that Mal is in need of rescue but Aussie Battlers are following Abbott's advice - turning his boat around.
