Pumped Hydro in Tasmania is one of the most cost effective in the market. The state had to turn on gas generation for 1 week thanks to a dry summer and the liberals selling all that lovely green energy to dirty coal states. Otherwise 110% net zero, renewable energy.
Just a pity the liberals lied (again) and did not remove Tasmania from the NEG. Now they have to pay dirty expensive coal energy prices for lovely cheap green energy.
