Well said. Everyone says "Why can't we get some really bright, high quality people in Gov't who can add value". I think that MT is one of those people. He has a great mind, real life experience and, I agree, shades of Paul Keating.
Leaders like this have the potential to create generational change (eg, Keating and Superannuation)
It seems to me that when the really, really smart guys put their hands up the political machines set out to destroy them.
