Jeff Kennett, for once, is wise and correct. Malcolm Turnbull seems to be giving Bill Shorten a "get out of jail" card on Labor MP's for ducking and weaving and not showing proof of their dual citizenship documents. Is there a cover up by both Turnbull and Shorten? IMO, there is, because the GG should have been involved by now, but he's probably been denied his constitutional duties of defending the constitution. And there is absolutely no way that any legislation, particularly SSM can pass under a constitutional cloud of illegally qualified elected MP's. Turnbull has the lowest consecutive primary vote of any leader in the history of Newspoll, so its no wonder he seems reluctant to prosecute any MP's, especially Labor, of which there are 11 under a dual citizenship cloud.
