    I live in a relatively new suburb (30 years old), our pool excavators dug up our utility lines, including the Telstra copper.

    It didnt look in super shape and it was 30 years old.

    So what led you to believe it wasn't in good shape? Did you attain the expert advice of a technician (who would have told you it's fine as most of it is).
