And yet countries all around the world are genuinely trying to reduce or limit their emissions by adopting new technologies . There is no doubt on that .
So , everyone has to do their bit . It is a bit hard to ask a family in Africa using dung fires for their cooking not to take up fossil fueled electricity .
At the same , westernised countries like the UK , USA and Australia have the financial and technical ability to move from fossil to renewables so they should lead the way .
Just like they do in industrialisation , health , medical development etc .
The most advanced countries lead the world . They always have and they always should .
