When the 2pp is between 49.5 and 50.5 yes you can't away call who will win bases on the 2pp polls, you would have a very slim chance of winning from 49% but any less and you would need a miracle.
Recent polls have had LNP bouncing around 46 to 48%, not quite crisis if you dismiss the fact they have been trailing in the polls since November 2013
