Just days into his new job and freshly-sworn in Prime Minister Malcolm Turnbull is already applying the language of the tech sector and growth companies to the Australian government.

The explosion of technology across business and the arrival of smartphones and cloud tech are generating entirely new industries as well as some of the highest paid jobs in the world.
