to maxhog and Beecher5253 - i have no problem with the same sex marriage being done through a postal referendum.expensive as it was. the people had their say instead of parliament dictating to us. that issue was killing the Libs politically and is now off the table. Having grown up in Sydney's Eastern Suburbs I actually vote yes. As for Rudd and Turnball they are consumed with hatred. they are smart people, yet so dumb in many ways. Both so bad that in the end both shafted by their own parties.
