"Hairyback; my 'beef' is what I regard as the despicable manner in which Tony Abbott has treated his incerdible loyal and frank sister - airing details of her private life to enable him to shoot off his self-serving foul mouth."
Your reply included this:
"Lapdog, your 'beef' is with everything Tony Abbott has ever said or done , his sister's sexuality or viewpoint is entirely irrelevant to you apart from an excuse to bag Abbott. ..."
You extrapolated from what I posted in relation to my perception of how Tony Abbott aired private details about his sister; thereby putting words in my mouth! It's for you to explain WHY you did so but the desperation inherent in your post is palpable.
As for democratic rights such as freedom of speech and public accountability; if it's OK for the likes of Abbott to say what suits his best interests when why shouldn't he be held to account for doing so? Why should there be one rule for Abbott and different ones for those who are repulsed by comments such as those towards his own sister?

Oh dear, I blame the teachers. English comprehension is sadly lacking in the social justice lessons which pass for modern schooling.
