In reply to DoneDeal, I have held many stocks over 40 years of investing. I could cite some spectacular successes, and some spectacular failures. I learnt much from the market corrections of 1987 and 1989, and the tech bubble in the US market in the late 90s. I also anticipated the problems in the US subprime market in the mid 2000s. I have, of course, bought and sold SDL at various times. But I continue to have a large holding, And I will not be divesting.
