Those like me who have seen the SP of GRY drop from $2.05 to the current level of 13.5c, with nothing being different in terms of GRY's gold reserves and capacity to extract, understand that the SP is a combination of the price of gold (where any falls are much more significant when translated into the profit margin in extracting gold), and the rush for safer gambles, such as bank shares, in uncertain times. Both factors lead to an attitude change, with a massive aversion for a falling commodity. Now that a rebound in the gold price from current levels is building amid increased demand for the physical bullion by China as evidenced by the increase in gold lease rates, and the resultant pressure on physical gold supplies, we will inevitably see pressure on the gold price to rise and to lift market interest in prospectors such as GRY who are sitting on substantial gold reserves.
