My understanding is that a shareholder owning 5% of the stock must report an increase or decrease in their holding of more than 1% of the total shares on issue.
Therefore on the basis BDI has 1.14B shares on issue then any holder owning 57m shares or more (5% of the total) must advise the Company when that share holding increases or decreases by 11.4m shares which equates to 1% of the total shares on issue.
