in my view the next two weeks will go someway to defining our future. by the end of August, ACL will know how much Reedys is paying us to date. if this payment is undisputed and roughly in-line with predictions then we will soar. if there is an type of dispute then we will be in familiar territory. can PS come good on this one?

i'm not sure.

the wording of the last (fonda) release did not fill me with great confidence. i don't think management have a clue what's owed to ACL - and i get the feeling our contract doesn't allow them to. i'm relying on the hope that Reedys value the relationship (and will know that a dispute isn't in their interests) and come good with a fair payday. perhaps we shouldn't have been so quick to sign up for european rights so we had something to bargain with?

i also wonder if the possibility of a dispute is the reason for the incessant drive toward splitting the company (but perhaps i'm being a conspiracy theorist here).
