Personally, I am of the view that a baby is a baby at the heart beat, It's then alive.
Many though,,, perhaps better men than I,,,take the view that from conception, the baby is alive
If that's your view, then killing a baby - for any reason - is unacceptable
And in that line of thought, its the rapist ought to be punished...but if you accept the baby is alive...then why must the baby die?
A moral question that the likes of you lot simply would struggle to come to terms with because probably, you dont see the baby alive until after its born. For if you did, you might hold a different view and not be so bloody certain of yourselves
Almost none of you will say when you think the baby is alive. Why is that? We know. Because once you do, you have to come up with the rationale to kill a human being
And why is it that in any other circumstance of the human condition, we have very strict moral and legal strictures over how, when and by whom that can happen and except for executions by the state or stopping life support when the evidence is the person is brain dead...we do not allow a person to make the unilateral call
So why with the baby is it allowed?
I know you think you have the explanation but you really, really dont. You have a rationalization for your guilt for the abhorrent act of slaughtering a baby.
