This week's announcement by the PM that Tuvalu citizens impacted by rising ocean levels due to climate change will be accommodated in Aus. This, IMO, is a very important announcement.
But if I were China, I would offer "island building" services to lift the height of the Islands (similar to China's island building in the China Sea) As such the natives could stay at home enjoy Chinese "welfare"
But China would likely demand a caveat: -an extended airport -a fishing port & infrastructure
