So, it would seem that Network 10 goes to CBS, and the only impediment to a transfer of worthless shares is a valuation report that shows the shares are not worthless?
Now I don't know about all of you, I am not against CBS owning Ten - happier than if Murdoch got it back, but I am against acquiring companies that do not respect shareholders by offering some level of value for their assets, where it clearly exists. I think that it is pertinent to point out to CBS that many shareholders, are their future potential customers.
So, in that light:

Since February this year, Tens 5 city prime time rating share has declined and surely that translates into advertising revenue decreases - according to this oztam report.

This can't be too encouraging.
I, for one, refuse to watch Channel Ten if it is acquired at my cost. I will also refuse to support advertisers who promote their products and services on Channel Ten, as clearly I will have less to spend because I lost a few thousand. Theoretically if I am spending less, so too will they.
