    sabre,

    everybody knows that vba has to reduce their flight schedule and raise fares.

    however, it would be interesting to know what vba's leasing and purchase/order agreements are like.

    they may not be able to terminate their lease agreements and they may not be able to cancel their plane orders without very significant financial penalties, if at all.

    also, the planes they own couldn't be sold because nobody would buy them.....even if they could find a buyer would they get market value for them?

    so vba management may have snookered themselves big time.

    the silence from management is deafening LOL
