the story, gives some idea of how expensive these signs are. the sign in question, would have cost something like $50m australian dollars. of course, the people who invested in the sign, want a return on the sign. how much bigger would the return be, if a company could make a sign, considerably cheaper. i think this is the claim, that lumacom make, and given the progress to date, this is no idle claim.

lumacom, have a market cap of $85m. this certainly seems high, compared to the market cap, this time last year, but given the huge market, and progess to date, this might seem cheap, in hindsight.

i wonder what percentage (excluding the sala family) of the register, is held by west australians????
