Loved the Life on Mars and Ashes to Ashes series on the ABC. Attention to detail was fantastic, as was the soundtrack.

Also couldn't get enough of West Wing.

Back in the day Police Rescue (ABC with Gary Sweet) was pretty good Aussie drama.

We also love Escape to the Country, especially during summer, comparing our wide brown land to their narrow verdant one.

My kids, 12 and under, love watching MASH for some reason, along with Get Smart. Can't beat content over special effects.

I know it was a rip-off of David Letterman, but watching Jennifer Kyte on the Steve Vizard show was entertaining.
