The moment you started blaming bots for the share price fall was when you lost the credibility to argue that you were interested only in charting. The chart is horrendous but you are already trying to mitigate by arguing that but for bots and panic from stupid shareholders, it would be amazing.

The MACD was not in an uptrend - it was skewed ever so slightly in favour of appearing as though it was by tiny fluctuations and a large chunk of time when the price did not move, thus skewing the averages from which MACD is derived. From an objective perspective, it is not possible for an observer to argue that this stock has been in an uptrend.
