The sentiment around all spec tech stocks is terrible at the moment. The success rate of them is low, and while many of us invest in the opportunity in the initial release of information that seems so exciting and plausible, the reality is that with a lot of these tech opportunities they need to be commercialized/monetized quickly before they are left behind and become irrelevant and potentially worthless.
At least spec mining companies always have the resources in the ground in their tenements and they may become commercially viable years down the track with new demand for the resource or advances in mining tech.
For all holders I hope this doesn't become the case with TV2, I have fingers crossed but I am not filled with optimism.
