I've asked this before and nobody seems to know.
Reality is that Gaming-as-a-service doesn't work. It's been done before by another company and it failed terribly due to latency issues.
It's one thing to have an instant action client side (at home) and then have the server delay the information - like all traditional online games.
It's another thing to have the client side action delayed, processed by the server and then sent back to the client. It's like controlling something with 200ms delay/lag. Doesn't sound like a lot, but it's essentially unplayable.
Speed of light essentially renders this model of video gaming useless unless you are on NBN and live very close to the server box, which is unlikely.
So I hope TV2U is not going down this path. Some clarity would be great regarding this aspect of their latest presentation, because it's definitely not clear how they intend to stream online games - that can be interpreted in a few different ways, one of which I just mentioned above.
