can someone explain to me why consolidation is seen as such a negative. any rational normal informed investor will know that changing the number of shares does not change the mkt cap or value of the company. at the end of the day yes it is disappointing that this has taken so long but blame can squarely be placed at the feet of the vendor, who has had a legal department working on MCC takeover and Togol JV. I feel a $7.5m to dispose of assets was well down their list of priorities.
We have all invested in this company with the knowledge a capital raising (which was always going to be substantially dilutive) was on the cards.
The fact ASX200 have fallen 15% form April highs doesnt seem to rate a mention either as a factor weighing on most stocks, especially at the speculative end
this isnt bad management, its bad circumstance and thats what happens in equity markets.
