I've read the many, informative posts over the last few days re the launch.
Being unfamiliar with the Australian sales channels, I've been trying to work out POH's planned strategic positioning of the range in the market. By all means sell however you can, but received wisdom is to have some focus.
Pulse as an outlet was, as I gathered, rather towards the economy end of outlets and recent comment on the TV shopping channel indicates the same - as indeed I'd rather imagine such an outlet to be.
On the other hand, the prices quoted seem to be at the higher, perhaps premium, end of the spectrum. Perhaps, of course, I'm simply not used to Australian prices. Le Metier - admittedly geographically separate but it's usual to keep product positioing fairly consistent across markets - is upper middle market.
Early days, but can anybody as yet discern the overall planned market positioning?
